We’re CloseSimple, and this is our blog. We’ll use this space to share insights on technology and the evolving consumer in the title space, and even throw in some thoughts on what’s happening outside of title.

But to start, we’re going to explicitly talk about what’s happening in our title world. As we look at 2017 and all of the forces at play in our industry, it’s critical for all of us to make this year our most proactive. And that means looking at opportunities for innovation in our businesses that can help drive efficiency and growth.

Don’t get me wrong: This is not innovation for innovation’s sake. It does not mean throwing the baby out with the bathwater. There are tried and true practices that we all crush on a day-to-day basis that will continue to drive our businesses forward. However, we must shift from a reactive state to a proactive state to thrive in our evolving world. ALTA President Daniel D Mennenoh summarizes this perfectly in the above quote.
